Atheist National Holiday!

Psalm 14:1 says, "The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."

So, we begin the A to Z challenge with A is for April "Fools" Day.  It is the atheist's national holiday.  A is also for Agnostics - another odd bunch.

I feel that should add a post script here.  I am well aware that there are many who may drop by my blog during the A to Z challenge.  For that, I am thankful.  Although, I am convinced my post is based on the truth of God's word, it is also meant to be for a laugh. In fact that was once me - Atheist/Agnostic - depended on my mood of the day!

I say all that to say this - my intention is not to offend. I do not consider myself better than any and I would be happy to discuss any questions and/or concerns any of you may have about my faith. That said, perhaps you might also enjoy this little video.  It is a before and after of me!

So nice to meet my #700 follower!!! Yay!!! Interesting post-- I read a biography of the most famous atheist Madeline what was her name again? It was a fascinating story of a very sad woman. Did you say you're a pastor? My dad was a Methodist minister, and his dad before him. Nice to meet you!

I was thinking about this topic earlier today. Doesn't offend me.

Contrary to my usual practice of subscribing to comments, to save time during challenge I will not be doing so during April. If you want to respond to my comment , please email me directly from your email notification for the comment.
Thanks.

No offense taken, only humor abounds. :o) Loved this post! My favorite epitaph of all time...Here lies an Athiest - All dressed up with nowhere to go. :o)

Visiting from the A to Z Challenge. Looking forward to reading your posts. Happy Friday! :o)

I, for one, am offended. How dare you lump atheists and agnostics together, when we atheists are a whole different kind of heathen!

But seriously, great post. As long as no one is trying to push their beliefs on each other, I enjoy discussing faith and religion. Now if you don't mind, I'm off to celebrate this holiday I just found out about. (I hope it involves ice cream.)

I don't mean to offend, but that video kinda made me giggle... it is hard for me to take anyone seriously who quotes from the Bible in order to make a point. Happy April Fool's Day, from one agnostic lady to one Christian fellow.

It's nice to meet a dear brother in the Lord. Loved the video. I don't mind offending Atheist. They wouldn't hesitate to leave ugly comments behind for us.

@Nate - LOL - enjoy you're ice cream brother!

@Ginny - thanks for stopping by. Just curious as to why quoting the Bible would make anyone less trustworthy than say someone who would quote any book?

@Nancy - thanks for the comments. It is always nice to meet new people. Just a word of caution however - Some may leave "ugly" comments, but we should try "to live at peace with all." Like I said, I was once one of the worst!
